Improved Lip Sync (Updated)

On May 27 we released two improvements for lip sync. We are removing “control mouth size” for further adjustments. This will only affect videos with lip sync opened in the studio since May 27. Next time you open these videos in the studio, they will not have the “control mouth size” logic.

Background noise

The lip sync tool is now better at identifying background noise, so the mouth will not move for low level noises.

We’ve made it so that when you adjust the lip sync audio’s volume the mouth will change accordingly.

We’ve added a whole new wardrobe of kids’ outfits to the Character Creator in Business Friendly style, including 28 tops, 7 bottoms, 2 hair items and 2 accessories. You’ll also find 31 kid stock characters, 57 actions, and 16 related props.

Here is a list of other newly added content:

  • Clown related items (Business Friendly): 1 upper outfit, 1 lower, 1 accessory, 4 stock characters
  • Graduation related items (Business Friendly): 4 upper outfits, 1 lower, 7 stock characters
  • More Character Creator choices (Business Friendly): 21 hair items including headband and painter hat, 14 accessories, 2 ear items, 2 safety vest items
  • Namaste actions (Business Friendly): 6 actions for both kids and adults
  • Namaste actions (Contemporary): 3 actions
  • Hand washing gestures (Contemporary): 2 animated props

Reverting Audio Control Update

In response to user feedback, we are removing the update to volume level and fading controls for further testing. You can still see the waveform will show yellow and red when the track is too loud. Thank you for your feedback, and stay tuned for future enhancements.

Adjusting the Audio Balance

When you’re creating a video you want to give your audience the best listening experience, and one way to do that is to balance the audio in a video.

Quick Tips:

  • Make sure the background music isn’t too loud
  • Choose a backing track that isn’t too distracting
  • Adjust the volume level on the voiceover so that it’s loud enough over the music
  • Consider adding sound effects to enhance the ambience
