Next time you launch the video maker, look out for some of our loading messages that offer useful tips.
1. Expand the timeline
Have you ever tried expanding the timeline? When you click on the arrow under the video icon, you can see more video editing tools.
2. Explore timeline controls
The expanded timeline makes it easier to see when and for how long a moving asset appears in the scene. Drag the bars to change the timing on entrances, movements, and exits.
3. Adjust timing in the timeline
The blue line indicates the duration of a Camera Movement or an asset’s Motion Path. You can adjust the timing by dragging the start or end points.
4. Use a shortcut to browse templates
After you select a scene in the timeline, there is a keyboard shortcut you can use to open the scene templates panel.
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + .
- Mac: Cmd + Shift + .
