Share Folders with Others

Vyond’s latest enhancement allows you to share folders with people inside and outside your team account!

To share a folder, click on the three dots for “More options” on the video listing page and select “Share” in the menu. It opens a dialog box where you can choose to enable a share link or by adding others to your list and enabling them access to the folder.

Professional and Enterprise users who share folders with other users in the same subscription tier will be able to choose the recipients’ access level, whereas Premium and Essential users or people outside their team account will be granted “View access” to the folder content.

Additionally, users who wish to tighten the security of their folders when shared can choose to enable password protection.

Quickly Bulk Edit Audio

Do you have to edit many audio clips in a video? You can now bulk edit audio clips in one go in Vyond Studio and save time and effort!

Whether you are editing mic recordings, text-to-speech (TTS), or background music tracks, for just one or multiple characters, you can batch-adjust the volume levels and audio transition settings for all the audio in one video.

To do so, select all the audio clips you wish to bulk edit. Then, open the Audio Settings dialogs with one of the three following methods:

  • Right-click on an audio clip selected, then click “Settings”
  • Click on the Audio Settings icon in the top right corner in the studio
  • Press and hold Command + Shift + A to use the keyboard shortcut

Additionally, you can mass-edit the voice, speaking tone, speed, and pitch of your TTS clips! This is especially useful when you want to make the same edits to all the audio assigned to one character.

Text-to-Speech: Tone, Speed, Pitch and Preview

Vyond’s latest advanced text-to-speech (TTS) settings allow you to create realistic TTS voiceovers and improve your video narrative. Also it’s now possible to preview voices before generating audio!

The next time you edit any TTS file settings, you will see a new “voice style” section where you can adjust the speed and pitch of the audio file on voices. You’ll notice that some voices, marked with a speech bubble icon next to their voice name, also have the option of adjusting the tone.

How to adjust voice settings:

  • In the “tone” dropdown menu, preview and select different tones to add expressions to your TTS voiceover.
  • In the “speed” section, adjust the speed of your speech to enhance your story’s pacing.
  • Finally, in the “pitch” menu, vary your voiceover pitch to heighten your story’s narrative.

Please note that the availability and variety of tones, speed and pitch depends on which voice is selected. If any of the options are greyed out, the voice adjustments are not available for that voice.

Themed Content Packs, Faceless Characters and More

We have a new type of content pack – themes! These are collections of templates based around a theme that you can use to easily create presentation-style videos, like when you’re pitching your ideas, presenting new information, or updating the team on HR changes. These templates come in a wide range of styles, from professional-looking corporate themes to fun and playful themes such as comic book and space. They are composed in ways that you can conveniently apply different messages to them. Additionally, our e-commerce and insurance-themed templates also feature faceless characters for neutrality. Search for “theme” in our template library to find our themed content packs.

As for scene content packs, we have added more locations such as home construction, supermarket warehouse, and biotech manufacturing.

Lastly, to mark Global Wellness Day on the second Saturday of June, we have one template to help promote the importance of good living and stay healthy physically and mentally.
