Improved Onboarding (Updated)

April 2022: This onboarding flow was originally published in May 2021 but the flow has since been updated.

We’ve overhauled our onboarding flow for new users. If you’re on a team account, here are some of the improvements your newest team members will see when they create their account:


1. New landing page

Once a user has activated their Vyond account, they will see three options to get started. They can jump straight into making videos in Vyond Studio, create a character in the Character Creator, or head to the Template Library for video inspiration.


2. Add character to a video

For those who head to the Character Creator first, after they save their character they will be able to add it to a scene. Then they can follow the quick tutorial on how to make videos in Vyond Studio.

25 New Stock Characters to Refresh Business Friendly Templates

Scene templates are great to put videos together quickly. We decided it was about time for a template refresh, so we have updated many of our Business Friendly templates and introduced 25 new stock characters.

Here is a list of our newly added content in Business Friendly:

  • Eyes: 15 pairs of eyes for Adults and Kids
  • Clothes: 4 upper items and 5 lower items for Adults and Kids
  • Stock characters: 25 new characters 
  • Template refresh: 55 templates have been updated to feature greater character diversity
