Do you ever try mixing up styles? In this video we used Contemporary props with Business Friendly characters. Here are three suggested ways you could use Contemporary shapes with other styles:
1. Dream sequences
Show that your character is imagining a scenario by using two distinct styles. In this scene we made a burger using contemporary shapes to match the burger costume from Business Friendly. This helps link the two scenes together.
2. Focus
Use contrasting styles to put focus on a prop or character. One of our favorites is using Whiteboard style with Business Friendly or Contemporary characters and props.
3. More flexibility
When you use props from different styles together, you give yourself greater flexibility to build your scenes. The yellow podium is made from simple shapes in Contemporary style, which work perfectly alongside confetti boxes from Business Friendly!
