Trim and Mute Uploaded Videos

Cut! Vyond is pleased to add the ability to trim the length and adjust the volume of uploaded and Shutterstock videos in Vyond Studio. This feature is designed to streamline your video editing workflow and save you time.

To get started, add a video to a scene and open the ‘Video playback’ toolbox. Here, you can preview your added video and drag the marker to trim it. For more precise cuts, you can use the timestamp editor. You can also adjust the video volume in this panel, or even mute it. Click ‘Save’ when you’re done.

Enjoy simplified video trimming, and a more seamless video production experience in Vyond Studio.

Introducing the ‘Narration’ layout! This text-only format allows you to create engaging scripts and videos with simple background visuals. The display text is available in two options you can select in the settings: ‘Key phrases’, and also ‘Dialogue’ which displays all the text generated in the script.

Diverse Body Mini Pack and OSHA Lab Outfits

At Vyond, we value your feedback and strive to create content that is inclusive and relatable for your videos. We are excited to introduce a “Mini Pack” celebrating diversity with characters of all body types in Contemporary style, which you can download using the template link above.

Try out the characters

You can apply actions to these characters and put them in your scenes, however they are not editable for now in the Character Creator. Do try them out and leave some feedback to let us know if we’re on track with these characters.

Lab outfits

In addition, we have created OSHA-compliant characters and outfits based on the feedback received from our manufacturing content release that meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards.

Here is a list of our newly added content:

Business friendly:

  • 4 characters in OSHA-compliant outfits
  • 3 character creator items including lab coats and clean room hood

Contemporary:

  • 10 characters featuring a diverse range of body types

Accessibility Enhancements

At Vyond, we are committed to diversity and inclusion. With this in mind we are happy to announce the addition of ARIA labels, accessible names, and keyboard focus in more places to ensure that users with different web use preferences can understand and interact with our studio features.

What are ARIA labels?

ARIA labels and accessible names use assistive technologies such as screen readers to provide more context and information about non-textual elements such as buttons and dropdown menus. Currently, you can find them in the log in, sign up, home and video listing pages.

Keyboard focus allows keyboard navigation throughout a page and is now also available on the home page, in Vyond Go and Quick Edit.

We continue to work on making Vyond accessible to all people, stay tuned for more accessibility updates in the near future.
