Quick Background Removal

Ready for our latest trick? Upload an image to the studio and right click to select “Remove Background”. Magic! You’ll be able to find both the original and the image with its background removed in the uploads folder.


Tips for best results

  • Upload an image that’s at least 512 x 512 pixels 
  • Use an image with a clear focus, a simple background and a defined subject
  • Choose photos that only have one or two subjects
  • Try cropping the image if you find that it is too large once the background is removed

Color Detection

Another new time saver from Vyond is the color picker detection feature. Simply upload an image to the color panel to auto detect a color palette. You can even add the five colors to Quick Access to keep them close to hand while making your video.

Visual Search

Save time with visual search! Next time you are looking for the perfect prop, background or scene, open up the panel and in the search box you’ll see a camera icon. Click the camera icon and drag a photo to upload for search. With Vyond doing all the work in the background, you’ll be offered similar items detected in the image. Great for visual thinkers and finding assets faster.


Tips for best results

  • Upload an image that’s at least 512 x 512 pixels 
  • Choose photos with objects that are in focus and have a clear subject for better search

Speech Enhancer

Don’t have access to a recording studio? No matter! We’ve partnered with Dolby.io and built in a speech enhancement feature directly into Vyond Studio. Record or upload your voiceover and click on the Speech Enhancer to remove background noise and get consistent volume levels. When you toggle the feature on, it will take a moment to fully process the audio – you can edit your video while it does its thing!

Scene Update

Next time you try adding a scene to your timeline, you might notice something a little different. 


Scene icon

In Vyond Studio, next to the Prop and Character icons you’ll also find a new Scene icon. This opens up a panel full of scenes. By moving the scenes library from the timeline to the left hand side of the studio, you can find all the content you add to your video from the same area. We also know you’ll find it so much easier to browse the scenes in this format.


Click or drag

You can click on a scene in the panel to quickly replace the scene you have on stage. Or you can drag the scene to wherever you want in the timeline. So easy!


“Choose Scene”

You can still add a scene from the timeline too! Your menu will now give you the chance to “Choose Scene” instead of choosing a template. We wanted to make it easier to clarify between the Scenes in your timeline and the video templates available in our Template Library.
